The most powerful realization I've had in my craft thus far is that you don't need to read a million books to perform ritual. Knowledge can enhance and help your craft but it's not the core of it. The core essence of ritual work (focusing your energy/will) is an ability we as humans already have within us. Stressing yourself too much over technicalities can actually obstruct you by seeding doubt and taking you out of the required headspace.
