Now is the time to start planning out early seed starts such as these storage onions started from seed instead of sets. Starting them now under a plant light, then planting them out as early as possible in the spring, will result in the biggest onions for storage. Of course, no idea how the weather will play out this year, it's becoming more and more unpredictable. But plan for the best and be flexible.
