The actual context is that an rpg session we wanted to do got delayed 45 minutes because we somehow couldn't stop talking about monster girls.

I don't think I ever realized just how incredibley strange and dense friend group in-jokes can be until yesterday when I heard somebody say the phrase "snake tiddy podcast" to mean getting distracted and wasting time. And everybody in the conversation knew exactly what he meant.

Breadtube literally started as dudes doing old atheism sphere style response videos to MRAs and other far right youtubers. The symbiotic relationship with human garbage was programed in from the inception. So I'm not sure how people were suprised it not only never went away, but rather exploded out of control.
