I don't think I ever realized just how incredibley strange and dense friend group in-jokes can be until yesterday when I heard somebody say the phrase "snake tiddy podcast" to mean getting distracted and wasting time. And everybody in the conversation knew exactly what he meant.
@fun There was a time when i could go "Mountain lions go Wiiiii!" and crack up an entire room.
Now I don't know a single person who really gets it. I've shared the story a few times, and people think it's funny, but they weren't there and don't have all the references.
*sigh* I miss having those kind of in-jokes.
The actual context is that an rpg session we wanted to do got delayed 45 minutes because we somehow couldn't stop talking about monster girls.
