Welcome to my little spot in the fediverse!
I am an author, teacher, poet, priest, and practicing #warlock. I am a #queer #poly man, 1/4 of #HouseFourlocks and co-owner of Satyrs, Inc., #DaturaTradingCo., and #ModernWitch.
I have been practicing #witchcraft for over 35 years and in that time I have learned that there is always so much more to be learned.
I have written several books, am a journalist for The Wild Hunt, and am host of the #WitchPowerDaily podcast.
If you want to learn more about me, my work, my books, and my teaching schedule, please visit my website at https://faerywolf.com.
Blessed be!
Today is the Feast of Victor Anderson (May 21, 1917 – September 20, 2001)
He was the founder of American Faery witchcraft (Feri). Though he was in a loving, monogamous marriage with his wife Cora until his death, this should not erase his bisexuality. He taught the longer one worked with Faery, the more bisexual one would likely become (an assertion that is less about one's sexual preference or behavior and more of an acknowledgment of the non-gendered nature of the soul).
A traditional offering would be hot buttered tea (literally just black Lipton tea with a pat of butter added) or even Taco Bell, especially bean burritos!

I was so happy to be invited to speak on the latest episode of the Queer Spirituality Podcast. My old friend @jcrossonhill and I chatted about what it means to practice queer spirituality as well as my latest book, The Satyr's Kiss. Check it out!
There's a new episode of the Queer Spirituality Podcast out. In this episode, I chat with author, teacher, and warlock Storm Faerywolf. The conversation focuses on how to center spirituality in lived queer experience, the spirituality of sex, and the importance of physical queer spaces. Listen on Apple, Google, Spotify, or most other podcast sites. Or you can listen on my website: https://www.queerspirituality.net/2023/05/02/centering-our-spirituality-in-our-queerness-with-storm-faerywolf/

"The core of Witchcraft has always been carnal in nature. It is rooted in the wisdom of both the land and the body, recognizing the physical world as the holy temple through which we worship the omnipresent divine, the indwelling consciousness within all things and places. It is this consciousness which we often deify, calling it Goddess or God or some other equally nebulous title meant to inspire a sense of awe, reverence, and mystery."
Today is the Feast of Harry Hay (April 7, 1912 – October 24, 2002)
He was an early gay rights activist and founder of the Radical Faeries. He founded the Mattachine Society in 1950 when it was still illegal for homosexuals to gather in public.
The Wild Hunt just joined the fediverse, give them a follow! @TheWildHuntNews
"As a queer warlock, I proudly stand with my trans sisters, brothers, and sacred others, and I will contribute to the inclusion conversation any chance I get. Still, most importantly, I will do my best to lift trans and other minority voices in the Craft."

Honoring the #RainbowDead!
Perpetua and Felicity are considered to be patron saints of same-sex couples. These North African women were friends and were executed together on March 7, 203 for being Christian.
When I was young, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be celebrating my 30th anniversary with my husband, let along have two other amazing partners in my life. I am truly blessed. Chas, it has been an amazing time. We have been through so much together and have come so far. I can't believe it's already been 30 years. It doesn't feel a day over 28. 😝
And Devin and Mat... thank you for joining us on this crazy ride. I love you both so much. ❤️❤️❤️
Here's to another 30+ years!
[1st picture is Chas and I just a couple years after we got together. We were just babies!]

"As a black woman, I have no particular interest in maintaining the status quo. Why would I? The status quo is harmful; the status quo is significantly racist and sexist and a whole bunch of other things that I think need to change."
- N. K. Jemisin
Some positive news for queer people and honoring the #RainbowDead. My latest piece for The Wild Hunt:
"I worry that you'll work in an office, have children, celebrate wedding anniversaries. The world of the heterosexual is a sick and boring life."
The thing about #BlackHistoryMonth is it’s a lot of labor to educate people on what they’re missing out
by not respecting Black culture, history, scientific contributions and the like.
But doing the labor as. Black personal also invites that disrespect. It’s everyone’s work.
When mostly Black people do it you get anti-CRT campaigns designed to test whether they can get white people to ignore fascism.
Then it spreads.
Today is the Feast Day of Lilly Rose Taber (Feb. 14, 1952–Sept. 4, 2000).
Lilly Rose was the Faery tradition’s 1st trans priestess. She led the 1st Faery coven in Denver & Phoenix from the '70s to 1987. She was a singer-songwriter and costume & hair designer. In the early ’70s, she performed with the Angels of Light, an offshoot of The Cockettes. She recorded several albums & singles in multiple genres including jazz, punk, new wave, and Pagan. She was a pioneer of Denver’s punk/new wave scene. Her bands included Jupiter Rey w/Lilly Rose, Lilly Rose & the Thorns, The Amazing Lilly Rose Band, and Band W.O.W.
Author of The Satyr’s Kiss and The Witch’s Name. Professional #warlock. Priest of the #FaeryTradition. Artist, poet, trance-ritualist.
