Ok so intro post ig? Pagan for about 3 or 4 years now. Raised Southern Baptist and there were a bunch of things that never made sense to me. With paganism came my introduction to witchcraft and I haven't turned back since. Solitary because it's hard to find a good coven in OK, and about as eclectic as you can get in pantheon and practice. I don't have deities I strictly follow, I'm sure they have better things to do than worry abt me, but I feel connected to Athena, Brighid, and Loki
Introductions! While Jupiter was transiting my 12th house I got dragged back into spiritual practices I'd neglected. Currently working on daily tarot and astrological practice to get me back in touch with this important piece of myself.
Biographically: I'm an American academic who hasn't lived in the US for over 10 years. I spend a lot of time being sad at the world from afar. Queer femme with the world's most supportive straight dude partner.
@anna Tbh the TERF ban was why I joined this instance in particular--I wanted to be around witches in a welcoming zone, and damn did the adorable theme help.
I work with macaques as well as some capuchins, did you know that macaques as well as some other species have cheek pouches similar to chipmunks? They also love marshmallows and fruit loops, almost more than bananas so if you throw a group either of those it's a free for all to see who can get the most in their cheeks, the females usually let the males have the bananas cause it's not worth the fight but they will absolutely throw down for a marshmallow (and honestly their bite hurts worse)
