Lately I've seen some suggestions showing up in my feed that Mastodon users should click on the "About" link and donate to their servers.
I did that on my server, witches.live, only to find out that there's no such link. The hard-working admins aren't asking for money.
I'm not saying that's because the witches.live admins are kinder and more generous than most folks...
...but I'm not not saying it either.

@acorn_garden as much as i would love to run the servers on sunshine and rainbows.... we do have a pateron! 😅
@acorn_garden hard to find something that isn't there! still finding some time and energy to do the.... lots of updates needed, you have to "immolate and rescribe" now which means deleting. hoping to sneak some work on it after a nice holiday rest ;
